Interesting...if this story keeps growing and the lame mainstream media starts spinning it...it could grow into a mini crisis...the small depositors are Equity Bank's key funding base...any mass exodus....could put the bank in an akward situation.

Kenyans are very forgiving.

Or is it Kenyans have short memory.

I think its our peculiar habits in calling and banking.

They wont leave Equity, after all.

Leaving is never a solution to any problem,be it banking, marriage, friendship, addiction name it!

Today the issue seems to be fine...I assume it was resolved at some point but no one tried to use it.

Systems will be sorted out. There will be no mass exodus. Business will go on as usual. Equity will post improved performance. Prophets of doom will look for another "end of time" story and the cycle will start again.

Disclaimer: I am a shareholder. I don't condone the situation and the way management are handling it. A week without YOUR money is seven days too long. I can only imagine the inconveniences caused to account holders! Poleni sana.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Quote:
Please equity, i withdrew money on 2/7/013 via mkesho and to date i haven't received it, neither has the transaction been reversed. I filled transaction complaint form at tom mboya branch yesterday and am yet to get back my money. You have breached my contract with you by denying me the right to access my money. I hereby notify you that failure to reverse that transaction by 6.30pm today 10/7/13 will lead me to institute legal proceedings against you. My ID No. 2???????
