@Ceinz and @Hisah what timeframes do you normally trade???

Got a little lucky on the execution of the USDJPY long I posted yesterday. Price dropped immediately after and we are now back below the weekly S1.

I make trades based on the 4hr, daily and weekly timeframes. Most of my trades last for more than a week.

Likewise I trade intra-week, holding trades 2-3 days and sometimes more than a week.

Yep. Cracks below 1300. Getting funky and attracting me as it approaches my zones of interest from 1180 down to 1080... Let the sellers get spooked harder and bail from the titanic...

Now waiting for SPX to crack below 1600 and drop to 1450...

Global markets were too overbought.

Downside move coming. Caution.

Scope still remains lower with 1300 and below breaking down.

@hisah - What are your best indicators,if any? I've been watching the forex market on and off but it seems like the market is becoming more consolidated especially in regards to market information and its effects.

RSI, ultimate oscillator and volume spread. MACD & Stochastics for trend confirmation.

What about economic indicators?

I rarely use econ indicators in forex. I wonder how many seasoned traders even the banksters who use econ indicators for the same. This market is too manipulated for those lagging indicators to help you earn profits... Mostly they are used to corner the crowd. Buy the rumour sell the news works well during those econ news events.

Clearly.Quite accurate.TA dominates.Thanx.

Was shorting usd/jpy today with a tp at 100.85 from 101.5.Fear and prudence got the better of me because of 101.15-25.Forex is an emotional roller coaster and now I'm tempted in between fear and greed.lol.

From this behaviour, 1.27 is behaving like a DNT (do not touch) zone. Euro futures also displaying interesting behaviour.

And I guess the final thing I would say in terms of risks of course is that we have seen some tightening of financial conditions, and that if, as I've said and as I said in my press conference and other places that if financial conditions were to tighten to the
extent that they jeopardize the achievement of our inflation
and employment objectives then we would have to push back
against that.

The Fed put reaffirmed and markets immediately take off while the USD is sold hard.

So that's why gold is threatening to go back to 1300? Is 1180 still on the cards according to T.A?
