The whole of South America is pissed off, they say their President was "kidnapped". The circus continues, Ecuador now thinks they are spying their Embassy in London, like that is not obvious. The Euro and the 6th of JulyJust when you thought it was safe, new cracks have began emerging in the Euro. As stated previously, the 6th of July was to be an inflexion point. In the days leading up to it, finance and foreign ministers of Portugal resigned resulting in Portuguese 10-year bond yields surpassing the critical 7 percent. Three people died as Egyptian troops opened fire at supporters of ousted Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi marching in Cairo. The incident occurred as crowds gathered outside the officers' club of the Presidential Guard, where Mr Morsi is believed to be held. The Muslim Brotherhood has been demanding his reinstatement. The army, which removed Mr Morsi in response to widespread unrest, denied shooting live rounds at the crowd. However the BBC's Jeremy Bowen at the scene says he saw soldiers fire on the protesters. http://bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-23202096

After making moves to bypass the petrodollar hegemony through direct currency swaps for their bilateral trade agreements, the rupee, aussie dollar, rand, ruble, iranian rial, yen, brazilian real have all weakened except the yuan. All the above back the yuan to become a reserve currency. The smoke screen is getting clearer now. The shift is silently happening behind the scene. Paper gold collapsing, physical gold premium hiking, dollar muscular, yet yuan still gaining on the muscular USD... Something has to give soon... $15/barrel oil... Just had a cursory look at ICBC - market cap of $296 billion and active individual accounts = 393 million. Those bank accounts are the entire western europe population! If its market cap was to scale up by approx £120 billion, it would match the combined market cap of UK's big 5 banks!
All the big 4 banks in chingland (ICBC, BoC, ABC & CCB) control more than half of chingland's econ and are already too big to fail.
Watching how PBoC will rein in the current credit squeeze that is being used to force capital to relocate from the property bubble to other useful sectors like infrastructure. A major bad loans spike together with a subprime collapse could crash the party badly in chingland and spill over into asia.

I've not paid attention to the chingland problem, but from what i gather is that the problem lies with the "informal" sector..or rather the under-regulated money lenders "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. Europe were targets of this espionage yet are quick to cooperate?!? Japan plans to switch inflation gauge; may up pressure on BOJ - http://uk.reuters.com/ar...n-idUKBRE9680EW20130709
Quote:The Japanese government plans to adopt a different measure of inflation to the central bank's, an official told Reuters, in a move that could mean it will take longer for Japan to be declared free of deflation and give ammunition to politicians advocating loose policies. Madness to the core... Gubberments are putting up crazy policies as pressure piles up on collapsing tax revenues. $15/barrel oil... British Bank Body Hands Libor To US Exchange - http://news.sky.com/stor...ds-libor-to-us-exchange
Quote:The administration of the controversial Libor benchmark interest rate will be handed to a US stock exchange under a deal to be announced on Tuesday that will remove it from British oversight.
Sky News understands that NYSE Euronext, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, has seen off competition from financial data providers including Thomson Reuters to win a contract to oversee the scandal-hit benchmarks. The ground is very shaky in the fin markets at the moment. The ground is shifting behind the scenes... $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

When politicians unite to vote overwhelmingly for something it's always at the expense of the public. Soon there will be enrons, not one but many... This market event is coming and soon... The volatility will fry accounts badly esp margin trading. Margin calls will be plenty. Most major market events are usually a cover up of a series of serious corruption. As usual auditors go down too as the shock & awe event knocks about the market. #DisasterCapitalism101 script in play... Don't be caught napping. KK and CMC smell like a similar auditor... $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!
