I am not the biggest fan of marriage,but i don't want to be a single parent either so to have kids i have no choice but to get married at one point in life.

I intend to take my studies to the highest possible level; so in all honesty,I need a man who will be as educated as me or more. Just as one looks at at other qualities when looking for a spouse,education level should also be considered. If I get a less educated man i will still respect him,and I will submit;simply because the bible instructs us to do that.

Submitting is about respect,not degrees and PhDs and big salaries. I know of many successful marriages where the woman is more educated.

Fellow me; if you love your wife enough to give up your life for her,then she will have no choice but to submit to you....it's human nature.

So,if you are a man,don't read what the bible says women should do; read only what it says men should do. Obey that and the rest will take care of itself.

I agree...Respect is a two-way street.

For married couples,what does submission entail? Pardon my ignorance,i grew up in a single-parent household,so i don't know the behavior of married parents.Is it telling her what to cook,or what to do? and she should do it? What is it?

Submit and respect are two words with contrasting meaning.
And something else,make sure the lady you marry loves you more... if mutual,well and good - ole wako if the scale is tilting the other side...

at a risk of feigning ignorance,can we first define what submission implores..well it can mean either of the following;
1. the act of submitting; usually surrendering power to another
2.the condition of having submitted to control by someone or something else

To me either of the above is insipid and any reasonable and intrepid bloke would see no rationale for it,the thing is thus ;women respect your husbands..period!!
