Sad Pray God bless KK and keep Segman shareholding intact. I think if he decided to step out is to protest business interferance by Govt, such as restrictions, price fixing, taxation etc.
He may move out then start his own company or even join Puma where he can start few affiliated puma stations and storage facilities and start buying shares in KK.
Or could the owners have pressed him so much to produce oil and not water?

I think he was asked to resign or retire amicably. We should have raised our eyebrows when he was replaced as chairman mmmhhh....

2011 they dint exercise the options. 2012 they exercised some option at a price of KES 3.42. 2013 and onwards is not clear on matter segman options ... H1 2013 doesnt look good with this kind of news coming in and considering the share has broken down the KES 9 support ... baying for lots of blood at the counter tomorrow #Note the options exercise price - KES 3.42

Atleast they can concentrate on their core business, buying and selling mafuta, not pata potea casino. Am happy too, though not an investor.

@VVS we all know Segman held onto those positions (CEO & Chairman) with no intention of letting go even after multiple requests from the CMA and some shareholders..

There is definitely a reason that the board suddenly stopped supporting his unilateral decision making! Failed corporate strategy...
Some top class managers still have the support from shareholders and the board to hold the dual role!
Pesa Nane plans to be shilingi when he grows up.

He touches the sell button with a conservative(highest) buy price of 3.42 and your guess is as good as mine.
