P/E range 16-23 in such a crap company??? Mboss there is no stress here! Its always about getting in at the right price... And for Olympia its below 3bob just like paka below 2bob! NAV still remains at 26bob so if they were to give up and and liquidate the company investors would a serious serious killing! Please walk me through the mathematics of NAV of 26/share. @VVS Basically shareholder funds of 1,074,362,000 divided by 40 million shares.. You get 26.85bob! but if you strip down Goodwill, Revaluations, NCI and consider FSV then the NAV per share falls to about 10bob I see. Please explain to me what the term "non-controlling interest" means? The amount shown as "non-controlling interest" = KShs 282,669,000 Greedy when others are fearful. What a shady firm. It has 2 line items as "Amounts due from related parties" coz the firm has debtors who are the matu family insiders mpaka they need to entries! First "Amounts due from related parties" = KShs 369,476,000 then another KShs 74,459,000 Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

The CEO (Ken Kareithi) of Olympia Kenya resigned. The CEO (Shyamal Bhavani) of Olympia Botswana resigned. A director (David Kabeberi) of Olympia Kenya resigned. And Michael Matu is still around as Deputy Chairman and the 'real' CEO behind the faltering firm. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Matu is a dead man walking in another market. But since this is a sapere market he is allowed to piss on common men.
