since he's playing dirty, you and your rela have to take off the gloves too. u can even negotiate with his significant other get his Id in secret, it's ur cash after all and he's refused the gentlemans agreement

I tried negotiating, the guy told he wanted 40K. The bit about my rela is that my rela is in the same fix as i am with the same guy. So The guy demanded 40K upfront as he was not guaranteed that we would pay him once we had sold.

Soon after is when he said that we send him transport chums for him to come to NBO we discuss. He never came and did not refund the chums. He has since chabnged his mobile number.


Eti pay him 40K upfront + 4K transport for 1,200 shares worth 72K. Thats even more than than what he'd get if the account was split into two. the househelp is playing you very smartly. ....

Agree to pay him the screw him over. Tell him you don't have the cash but you can get it to him once the sale goes thru. Once it does, tell him to go jump off a bridge! If this doesn't work, negotiate @mawinder style. The 4k you gave him would have been enough for the Gachie Mafia to "convince" him to sign the necessary documents! And next time don't let them leave your employ before everything is sorted out!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Forget about the shares first.
Get a friend (a real one) then tell him your predicament. In months time tell your friend to call him using office line, let him pretend he's calling from CDSC/A bank then tell the dude you took a loan against the shares and he (househelp) will lose his ownership if he won't produce his Id or come to Nairobi since you have defaulted in paying some instalments. If he chooses to come let him meet your friend and after getting his id and ensuring everything is okay. Tell him to f*** off!!!

This one sounds like experience.
Talk to his chief upcountry and water his mouth. Things will happen.
