Hello Wazuan's

I need help!
There is a family member who got a D in KCSE and I have been tasked with the job of getting him to a level of where he will either be employable or self sufficient.

I am looking for ideas and opinions because apart from watching TV I don't think there is any other thing of interest this guy has.

I thought it was D-?

He can join the police force. I think their minimum qualification is D.

What's on your mind?
He needs to hate the house for him to get out and do anything meaningful,so look for ways of making the comfy and lazy stay unbearable-engage him in manual labour, switch off the main switch or refuse to pay Elec bill, spoil the cable, such.smile

Kick him out of your house. Natural instinct will kick in and he will either work, beg, borrow or steal! Whatever he chooses, he will be independent.

A D suggests he is not very good in books.Chances are that he is not creative either and that is why you have been asked to think for him.No employer is keen on such a person.

Best option have him to acquire some skills. Hairdressing, barber, milking of cows, greenhouse mgt, mechanic, cook/chef etc.

Finally ensure that TV is locked up in a cage in the Wall unit or put it in your bedroom before you leave for work. That lazy bone will watch TV all day then do something with the house gal after that.Elec costs will go up while house duties remain undone.

Shida × 2.

he might resort to sleeping the whole day, some form 4 graduates can be stubborn - with a D there is not much educational interest in him for now, you might push him to do some bridging courses but without interest from his part, it will be in vain.

get him full dstv and those console games to keep him occupied, you don't want his mind getting corrupted at this age - after a few years he will get bored with that and hopefully he will have matured enough to try biashara
