Should splits make you money? Why do stock price rise just because there is a split. Split should create liquidity(affordability) but in Kenya splitting is a way to make money.
What stocks in the current market need splitting and what price can we judge to be "affordable" Can a stock at 40 be split to create affordability? What about those in the 200-570 range? Safaricom seem to have undergone split before IPO making it affordably massive. Limuru tea has remained a block priced stock with no split too long.

Thinking of affordability (or lack of) I don't see the sense in buying 100 shares of Paka in the rule of min number of shares. We should have min worth like 5,000/=.
