safcom modem fraud

Mine is not the 1999.00 cycle. I get an invoice showing how much iv browsed extra from the 700mb. Last months bill was 3665.00,yet the sim card i threw away ages ago & even wrote a letter to suffercon to cancel the service.
Their billing system definately has an issue.

This safcom modem is so fake. I just connected the modem to my comp and even before i could open the browser,2MB had be used up. They are turning into cons. The same applies to bonga points. I had 2000 bonga points,when i checked again after some time i had 976 points then later,i got a message i am not registered for bonga points.
The best net for your home is ZUKU. They charge 3k per month unlimited

Dripslick,why not just follow Nairoberry's instructions instead of just joining the 'safaricon is a con' bandwagon? I use both Orange and safcom modems at home and office and the updates run regardless of which modem is in use...

I dont mean to be the devils advocate here but I wish to disagree with most of you. I normally load 1K (300mb) every 25th and it lasts me upto the next 25th (oooh thats today. Missus is always online checking/updating her FB,reading mail,researching and playing online games. I rarely download stuff at home anyway (what with office bandwidth....). My suggestion is have your comps/laptops checked.

I have not seen any problem with my modem or the billing. BUT safaricom staff at their centres especially at the I & M Building are incompetent. How can one be so blank on a company and its products and still draw a salary from it!
