How many times would you think the parents had forgiven before it came to this?

Matthew 18:21-35 ESV
Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven.

...@Mnjoro...By the way thanks for that beer...I did not 'return hand'. We should plan when I should do this!!!Good man!

Forgiveness is very hard to apply here. We are human. Who could forgive the son had he accomplished his mission? I think the Tetts just decided to let justice take its roll

Love and family is not necessarily borne out of "Blood" there are very many blood sons and daughters who do worse!!!

...Forgiving is unconditional, brother...The WORD is very clear on this! If you live by a tooth for a tooth maxim, you will be a very unhappy person!
...Yes the husband should forgive her but take her to Mathare hospital for treatment! Normal human beings don't do stuff like that!
