If it were not for the west MPesa that we proudly claim to be Kenyan would be non existent.d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!

So what did the west do to grow Mpesa I dont see the connection To the best of my knowledge safaricom copied the product from celtel soko tele maybe got funding and a few inputs here and there from Vodacom and voila a great product Kenyans uptake of the product is what has made the product be where it is today unfortunately a huge part of the profits goes o the UK through the vodacom shareholding.

South African university students also seems not settle well with this visit. There are some who are organizing to protest during his visit. Well, he does get protests all over the world wherever he visits and this normally does not make any headline, but this means something considering he's a BLACK U.S. president visiting BLACKS homeyard.

I understand Kirubi declining as much as I think it's unwise but for Bob Collymore to decline is simply stupid. He has more to gain then lose as he's not Kenyan. One photo op with Obama would propel his career to great heights..


It's a delicate balance I would think... Trump wont hire you because you took a photo with Obama... he will hire you because you moved Safaricom from this level to the next... I would think.
