What is with Kenyans - though in all fairness... not among the folks who went to the better schools...

Is it correct to say 'I took tea' coz I was taught 'I had tea'

Or 'How is you'... it is 'How are you'

@jerry;

people don't understand the need for abbreviations. 'MY' is 2 letters long,but so is 'MA'. Perhaps the reason is that it is faster to type 'MA' on the cell-phone keypad than typing 'MY'......what really annoys me is when people carry these abbreviations into emails....come on; the computer keyboard is large enough to type with both hands!!!

Speaking of abbreviations,I heard a person trying to spell out the initials CBA (Commercial Bank of Africa) thus:
'C' for cat,
'B' for boy,
and 'A' for Africa!!!
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
