Some things only happen in Kenya. The story of man biting dog comes to mind.

I was thinking may be a mad man at Mathare attempted to rape a nurse on duty.... but how wrong I was, instead,

KNH management should be part of the solution to this and not to protect a rapist.

Allegations!

Did the patient on the bed next to her hear or notice? Why didn't she scream and shout? Was the ward empty or they were in a dressing/side room?

That is why I say this, never ever examine or attend to a female client without a chaperone present (either a relative, the spouse or a female nurse). Even if it is a cut on a finger. As long as you are laying your hands on her, have someone else present.

Else, she will later say you raped her and there goes your reputation...
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

As is recommended, though I think most clinicians only do it for rape victims.
