What a thankless Nation we are!!!

This brave Kenyan risked his life to take out the most wanted criminals in Kenya including Rasta and Wanugu [with no back up!]

Fellow policemen sold him out to Rasta and then tried to kill him ["tried to" kill him is an understatement] - They sprayed his car with 56 bullets!!! He identified the shooters - he actually spoke to them at the scene before he lost consiousness - but the police commissioner at the time - Philemon Abongo - told him he cannot get "in between" and he should talk to and forgive the shooters. He insisted that it was mistaken identity.

Long story short, Seroney later got transfered, then fired and still has a bullet lodged in his chest. His shooters??? Still in the police force!!!

Hopefully UhuRuto will do something!

I've watched both episodes and honestly, my heart goes to that guy. He even looks a bit wasted (in comparison to his own photo framed on his wall). Yenyewe ukiona a true warm-blooded African man shedding tears, yenyewe sio kuzuri. The desperation and resignation to fate in his voice is almost palpable. When he said that all he wants is not compensation (they already have made it clear they'll never compensate him anyway), but that he merely wants for the bullet lodged in his chest to be removed, a bullet he got in the line of duty, I really felt for him.
Honestly, if I was in a position to decide, here is one guy who I think deserves the highest of state honors and a generous retirement package. And while at it, can we please get our policemen a comprehensive medical cover and life insurance?

And the punk who led the group that shot him is still in the police force - in Kakamega I think!!! Tears flow from Seroney's eyes so effortlessly! He has been through hell and back - all for his country - while he could have got into the payroll of blood thirty thugs like his fellow police officers but he didn't - and he is now suffering while the corrupt enjoy themselves.

I hope this info gets to UhuRuto and some heads roll. Some people need to get fired, others go to jail and Seroney gets the compensation, treatment and recognition he deserves!

We need to send a loud and clear message that the good guy always wins. In Kenya it has been the other way round and this has to change! Imagine what was going on in the heads of young newly employed police officers watching the piece!

Uhuru and Ruto have more important things to do eg laptops, to deal with

The IG is also too busy, creating non-existent police posts, calling people who aren't suspects to his office and needing to to get all the powers that he knew he never had when he was getting the job.

If you are expecting anything from this gov't I think you are one of those that believe laptops will get us to vision 2089.

This is Kenya where those that perform for gov't are fleeced and thrown to the dustbin while the thugs keep on getting promoted.

Just take a look at the next roundabout and see the fat policeman and you will come to my side of the table which believes that the police force went to hell and came back on foot.

What you are saying is very true. But i think we should give the current Government a chance before we write them off.

Personally I did not vote for the Jubilee government but I have decided not to call them a failure or stereotype them with regards to past events.

Thus lets watch them over the next 5 years and hope that they will always be mindful and attentive to the cry of the people. They might actually surprise us and do magnificent things Pray Pray Pray Pray .
