Hang around Salgaa and hike a lift to Juba on the trucks delivering relief. In Juba get to the bank of the Nile and board a Barge(a steamer) and enjoy the Nile for 8 days journey to a town called Kosti in the South/North Sudan border.

From Kosti you can board a Nissan to KTM on a very smooth highway.

Will take at least two weeks but very Cheap otherwise take KQ.

Dont touch those Sudan airlines if you value your soul.

LOL... going by road is an adventure. just fly there using KQ... by road might end up being more expensive than flying!!! And how do you carry your luggage?

Those are indeed alot of Euros. Out of interest, why is KQ billing in Euros out of Nairobi, thot $$$$ was the way to go.

I've noticed the youth in particular coming in to a workplace with a completely outsized notion of their own value and importance... just a thinly-veiled arrogance. May be the credit crunch induced recession is whats needed to remind us all about the value of hard work.... By Anonymous

@ Obi and VVS,I got the quote from an agent

@tuvok,you are right Ethiopian Airlines is much cheaper, thanks.

@Festom,thanks for the Kampala Coach tip. If anyone needs the info; it takes 29hrs and costs Kshs. 4,500. You will still need to get the Sudanese Visa (USD 50)

EDIT : Correction,29hrs and Kshs 4,500 gets you to Juba, from there you are on your own. Eish, better fly.
