Some forum member here repeatedly asks; 'what is the next impossible demand ODM will make?' This comment was last made on the post regarding the simple issue that President Mwai Kibaki should consult on the appointment of Leader of Government business. I guess it is not 'unreasonable' now. So next?

Come 2010 July, with the IIEC in place, and with Mutula Kilonzo promise of a new constitution,we shall demand that the non-performing PNU section of government takes the Prime Minister position and ODM take the President Position, this will mark the mid-point of the 50-50 power sharing agreement. If not,an election. The position is clear and PNU and the country should prepare.

If you are thinking this is an impossible request (largly due to tribal misgivings) consider if it was the other way round. President Daniel Moi offering Mwai Kibaki, presidency as the leader of opposition in 2000,or the Prime Minister position proposed by DP then, you would celebrate, wouldn't you?

Thanks
Prof

Raila will not accept this because then he will only have one more term remaining. Unless they change the constitution to allow for three terms.

Topics like these are what is making our country standstill.

Kenyans want solutions to their daily problems. They want roads and schools, governement institutions that work. It infuriates me when our leaders play politics.

Politics must not become what we talk about everyday, who is running what etc. We voted in 2007 and now need a clean period to graze our cows, dig our farms, give tithe in our churches, copy and apply new innovative ideas.

Each of us should focus on what we do best and do it to the best of our abilities, whatever. Lets aspire for good citizenry. I

If it is a junior civil servant aspire to have better morals and a self less spirit of public service
If it is a senior civil servant to stay longer in the office and look for innovative ideas that will take us foward
If it is a jobless youth to focus on finding something he/she can do to improve society and that of many around him/or her
If it is a gang member to leave the gang and aspire to become a better person
If we owe government money, lets pay the government happily, and let those who oversee the government funds have ethics

Kenya is not a jungle of apes,It is our home, lets care for one another, support one another
Make each other look and feel good of themselves
Lets change our attitudes at all levels of society,so we can live the difference of

How things are,How things should be

Which constitution are you looking at? The old one,the current one (National Accord) or the future one of Mutula Kilonzo (December)?

@Ceaser,

Good man,I like the way you always intervene with much needed sense.

If all kenyans had your attitude,we could be a better country.

From now onwards,I will strive to think positively in this forum,no more posturing,if I stray, please all remind me of my pledge.

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

@ professor,

for your information we only have one constitution. from my limited knowledge,National Accord is not a constitution as you might want us to believe....

Ceasar and Obi ..Im with you in this...Only that when a 'leader' tries to con us(taxpayers) I feel hysterical..I get a fit of anger ... I just can't keep quiet...Will try to be positive though.

I mean fundamental analysis, you get me? Fundamental analysis of a business involves analyzing its financial statements and health, its management and competitive advantages, and its competitors

Prof, yawa,we are tired of these politicians! Very tired of these mpigs. They are eating maize, stealing oil, anglofleecing us, and now typing errorniously? We will vote them out no matter which side u support. Ngoja!
