I know how stupid this may sound, I have no other job lined up, but I can't take it anymore.
This job is extremely stressful and my boss has a serious case of Napoleon complex! I've tried but I can't.
Just wanna hear if anyone has ever made a leap of faith and quit without another job lined up.

What do you sell?

You are selling it badly. Or you don't know what you're selling. That's why quitting a job is cause of anxiety.

Everywhere you turn, you'll find a complex. You might even be one. This is an age of market maximization, you are now minimizing it.

If the above does not appeal to you, quit and don't be too quick to put the money in business as it may eat up the savings if not managed properly.I know with the right approach you may live on the savings as you look for another job.

If you can work with a control freak who feels the need to constantly remind you that he's in charge and takes any suggestions from you as an attempt to undermine his authority...by all means, apply.
Whew! Sorry, anyway he is quite a handful!
