US fears Snowden may defect to China - http://abcnews.go.com/Bl...urces/story?id=19389672

With such reality shows it's no wonder the movie world is no longer a thrill anymore. Wikileaks, vatileaks, now this plus a lot of drama in the fin markets as well as global protests. Thoroughly entertaining without incurring any cable tv bill.

The world is witnessing a resurgence of the protest movement with incidences in Sweden, Kenya, Germany, Turkey and now Brazil. The first wave was the Iranian crisis that sparked off the Arab Spring and Occupy Movement. The riots in once tolerant Sweden were right on time resonating with the crucial month of October, 2014.

A few days prior was the Kenyan "Occupy Parliament" movement.

The German "Blockupy" and Turkish protests were also timely.

That is the reality for most fin markets thrive on manipulation.

Wondering why lamestream media is telling the sheep the truth of late about the market hand...

I'm similarly surprised.Manipulation is being exposed and nothing has happened yet. Then the bearish articles and blame games have started and still nothing has happened.I'm also surprised IMF has put cyber security as a global threat. The atmosphere is intense everywhere like the previous post.

The 19th of March, 2013 marked a significant turning point in the Syrian Civil War as reports emerged of chemical weapons usage for the first time. So far, the United States has maintained a policy of arms-length diplomacy. That policy reversed on Thursday with the Obama Administration announcing its intention to arm the Syrian Opposition. However, Russia stands as a spanner in the works.

March/April 2014 and May 2015 stand as potential turning points.

"MOSCOW—The Kremlin criticized the U.S. decision to arm Syrian opposition fighters and said Washington's evidence that the Syrian regime is using chemical weapons was unconvincing, but said Friday that Moscow is "not yet" discussing its plans to deliver of air-defense missiles to the regime.

President Barack Obama on Thursday authorized the U.S. to arm fighters against the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime, reversing a policy of giving only nonlethal support to the country's opposition in the two-year-old civil war. The White House cited confirmation that Mr. Assad's regime had killed up to 150 people with chemical weapons as the reason for its about-face...."

Detroit to default on $2.5B debt to avoid bankruptcy, emergency manager says - http://www.foxnews.com/u...t-wont-pay-25b-it-owes/

Quote:
A team led by a state-appointed emergency manager said Friday that Detroit is defaulting on about $2.5 billion in unsecured debt and is asking creditors to take about 10 cents on the dollar of what the city owes them.

"The average Detroiter has to understand this is a culmination of years and years of kicking the can down the road," Orr said. "We can't borrow any more money. We started borrowing from our own pension funds."

Extra! Extra! Read all about General Keith Alexander, Site M and Endgame Systems.

"Inside Fort Meade, Maryland, a top-secret city bustles. Tens of thousands of people move through more than 50 buildings—the city has its own post office, fire department, and police force. But as if designed by Kafka, it sits among a forest of trees, surrounded by electrified fences and heavily armed guards, protected by antitank barriers, monitored by sensitive motion detectors, and watched by rotating cameras. To block any telltale electromagnetic signals from escaping, the inner walls of the buildings are wrapped in protective copper shielding and the one-way windows are embedded with a fine copper mesh.

This is the undisputed domain of General Keith Alexander, a man few even in Washington would likely recognize. Never before has anyone in America’s intelligence sphere come close to his degree of power, the number of people under his command, the expanse of his rule, the length of his reign, or the depth of his secrecy. A four-star Army general, his authority extends across three domains: He is director of the world’s largest intelligence service, the National Security Agency; chief of the Central Security Service; and commander of the US Cyber Command. As such, he has his own secret military, presiding over the Navy’s 10th Fleet, the 24th Air Force, and the Second Army..."

The Kenyan Shilling had the lowest monthly closing versus the U.S. Dollar in September, 2011 and fell to an intra-day low in October, 2011. Using the timing frequency of 19, the Shilling had the highest closing versus the Dollar in April 2013. It took 19 years from the peak for gold in 1980 to the low in 1999.

If the high in April holds, we should see the Shilling depreciate past 86.05 and 87.6. Turning points are coming up in August of 2013, November of 2013 and May of 2015.

"The Kenyan shilling fell to an 11-week low on Friday as expected support from the central bank failed to materialise and a week-long share sell-off persisted.

The shilling has weakened 0.8 per cent since June 6 as foreign investors have booed gains from 2013's 20 per cent rally in stocks.

It could come under further pressure after the finance minister said on Thursday that Kenya plans to reintroduce a tax on capital gains, which could deter foreign investors..."
