I know how stupid this may sound, I have no other job lined up, but I can't take it anymore.
This job is extremely stressful and my boss has a serious case of Napoleon complex! I've tried but I can't.
Just wanna hear if anyone has ever made a leap of faith and quit without another job lined up.

I did in 2007 and went to sell pot. My boss was former silly council ... You can picture the frustrations.

I didn't have a family then so was managable for me but wouldn't advice you to if you have a family.

My take.

You don't like your current job. Am assuming you have worked for several years there, which means you can vumilia kiasi, then you could plan on your exit plan.

Either going biz way or looking for another job, whichever you accomplish first and you will be good to show him the middle finger

I was worried about how you will survive but you have allayed my fears. Moreover your name sounds anf suggrsts that uour background (family) can give you shelter and food while you are in transition between jobs.

Consequently therefore do not appear there on monday.Walk out when you are still sane. This will enable you think clearly about your next move.

Your situation is not nice and can drive you insane.

Lakini uwache kazi na manners na ungwana sio matusi.

Think business too now that Youth fund na women fund iko na 30% of all tenders should be for youth and mamas. You have double advantage here.

Good luck

I agree wth @Faa you have to take calculated risks with life...you have many pluses...
(i) No family
(ii) Savings that can last you atleast one year...
If there is something I personally dont do is let someone ruin my happiness;life is short,u cant live each day dreading the next working day just coz of a fellow human being...Get a strategy on what ul do...at timez such a move may be an eye opener that will lead to bigger and better things.
If you pray...pray about it.All will be well...

I did that!!! Took a leap of faith and never looked back. What you should be prepared for though, is that another job may take its time. But that shouldn't stop you. As it's said, if you work for a living, why kill yourself working?
Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca
