in one of the projects i have come across this. that si mitini scapes in kiambu

The new shareholding structure will be:
75% Home Afrika Ltd
25% Shareholders, friends and Investor Clubs
240 Shares on offer @ KShs. 500,000/- per share.

if u look at the investor conference on their website. u will see several such offers.
these guys are shrewd investors, i doubt they can sell anything cheap.

Do they give information memorandum on such offers ama people are buying the shares blindly

the building morning side is superb. these guys are serious. if all their developments look like this...
ive sent a document to wazua Google group.
thats all the info i could get.
shares to home afrika itself are not for sale, only to the projects as a joint venture with HAL.
the ROE's stated look rosy.

Thanks @Aguy for the info and the doc.

The ROEs stated indeed look very rosy. But i wonder whether the property revaluations have been based on valuers figures or they are just estimates.

Am also trying to figure out, if one buys the KES 500K share, how much will one be paid by the company after the given construction is completed and the given apartments/villas/houses have been sold. This way, one can tell how much capital gains they will have made from the shares after all the said is done

Jamii Bora targets a listing on GEMS board in one year

“Last year we had resolved to list over-the-counter (OTC), but with the creation of GEMS, whose requirements are more relaxed, we saw why not just list on the wider platform,” said Jamii Bora CEO Samuel Kimani.

Shares of firms that are listed on the OTC market are traded through select stockbrokers unlike under GEMS, which opens the stock for trading by all NSE intermediaries.

I hope this spells the end of the OTC market, which is a very shadowy exchange #GoodRiddance
