Laugh all you want. The only reason you think it cannot be done is because no one has put in enough effort to make it possible. The journey of a thousand miles starts with one small step. We cannot allow our future to be dictated by our current inadequacies of thought and spirit.
One laptop per child is not unique to Kenya. It is taking hold in other countries as well and I know some one will yada yada that those other countries are not Kenya but guess what, there is nothing truly special about Kenya, that will set us apart from the rest of the world.
As Jonas Salk once said " I have had dreams and I have had nightmares, but I have overcome the nightmares by focussing on my dreams"
...... and that I believe is the way forward, focus on the possibilities and watch those so called impossibilities begin to unravel.
