The Teachings according to The Bible, The Koran, The Torah and other Religious writtings are, in my opionion, subject to different interpretations.
The slave masters in the United States and the Arab world were ardent adherers of their respective faith.
I give you the creators and practitioners of Apartheid. Another very Religious lot.
Need I mention "Islamic Fundamentalists" who advocate "terror" as a weapon of war?
Let the Bishops, Fathers, Reverends, Mullahs and various other Religious Leaders do their thing but do not Judge them, for as the Lord says, ... vegence is mine...
My penny thoughts.
Those thoughts are too cheap. Less than a penny, infact
Sorry, but I think you have limited knowledgeYou may be right in some things you said, but you are wrong when you said "Islamic Fundamentalists" who advocate "terror" as a weapon of war"
I don't know where you got that from, but I know this is what you feel is wrong in Islam.
I like your being frank and open but...I want to convince you that what you've said not correct.
You have been ignoring the positive nature of Islam...and only focusing on what you hear from people.
These enemies of Islam say:
- "Oh! Those Muslims who marry more than one woman"
- "Ah! Those people who oppress women by keeping them behind the veil"
- "Mmmm! They are fundamentalists”
- etc
Muslim stereotypes are perpetuated in every form of the mediaSo much allegations, so much gross misinformation.
In fact, such misinformation and false propaganda results in wrong perception about Muslims.
Example:remember the anti-Muslim campaign in the American media following the Oklahoma bomb blast?
The press was quick to declare a ‘Middle Eastern conspiracy’ behind the attack.
But you know what? The culprit was later identified as a soldier from the American Armed Forces.
