But i do think that there is something going in in the world in regards to this cancer thing!

Something must have changed drastically in the last 20 yrs.

I suspect foul play .....

But do see this link ....

http://www.curenaturalicancro.com/

There are claims of healing ..... the challenge is gettg pure sodium bicarbonate ...... and getting an expert to make the solution ...

Mine is to add my prayer to all those that have been said.

I pray that God gives strength to all involved to bear the pain.

Doctors treat and God heals.

Try the India contacts and also other hospitals in Southern India, Bangalore, Madras/Chennai. For comparison of both costs and facilities.

In God we trust.Good luck

I still need to know more from real people in Kenya on how they've or they survive living with such a cancer. Will visit the Nairobi Hospice kesho, need to learn all there is to know.

I sincerely pray and believe this is the right step to begin with, however cases of healing even in cases said to be certainly terminal have occurred, scientist call it spontaneous remission, but i believe it is a spiritual issue, only to God,i pray for the best for your friends case, i pray for the spontaneous remission to occur Pray .

@jguru, thanks for very informed advise-invaluable.
@Githundi and @peppy,imezidi. cancer is so widespread we may never know the extent without a proper national survey and records on the same are scanty and not centralized. Add in the fact that many people are not diagnozed with the ailment even when they die.

The situation gets worse when you factor in misdiagnosis which results in late detection of cancer. My friend has been in and out of hospitals with stomach complaints for over two years. All the while being treated for ulcers, constipation.... sad situation.

The only solution to cancer is early diagnosis and this can only be done with routine testing. But this sort of screening and surveillance is very expensive and most Kenyans are a poor lot. Ideally, everyone should go for comprehensive health check-ups annually.

Speak to your MPs and politicians. I don't know how legally possible it is, but they should change the laws to allow you to sue a doctor in a court of law directly without going through the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (their interests lie with the docs).

For example, failing to do an OGD for a circa 40yr old patient with sudden onset dyspepsia who later develops stage IV stomach cancer is criminal medical negligence. That doctor should be deregistered & made to pay damages.
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

The Ancient Indian Medicine of Ayurveda has been known to cure cancer effectively without serious side effects. Please try to find out if there are any gurus(doctors) who practice it in Kenya or anywhere near. U can watch an old documentary of youtube about it and read about it alot.

Here is an article about it from the American cancer society. Don't lose hope docs have been wrong before http://www.cancer.org/tr...dbodyandspirit/ayurveda

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih....mc/articles/PMC3111701/

I don't know about other parts of the world but it seems in Kenya stomach cancer is detected a bit late.

A tear fell when I heard you are no more. That you'd slipped away while I was away. That the cruel hand of death had snatched you away.

we's held onto hope that you'd pull through. When the docs had said there was no hope. We hoped. We prayed.

Rest in peace Bony, your kind deeds, humility will live on. We'll miss you though. Till we meet again salala salama Waweru.

Sad Sad Take heart. You did your best and if it was within your way you'd wouldn't let it happen.

My most sincere condolences to you @Rahatupu and other of Wawerú's pals and family. I know how you must feel. This same ailment took away from me someone who was very dear to me, my grandpa. May Wawerú's soul rest in eternal peace. We'll be praying for you and family for strength in this time of grief.
