It is really really sad what is happening to Kenyan hospitals.
The Sarah Serem Commission were asking for 700million for their annual budget. Now the Judiciary want a 300 million plane.
A provincial hospital in Kenya (Nyeri, Nakuru, Kakamega, Coast etc) receives about 16 million a year in government funding (medical supplies and cost-sharing funds). Even if you add the annual salaries of all the doctors and nurses and hospital staff the annual GOK funding never goes past 150 million a year.
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.
