For the last two weeks Sameer Africa has been trading in relatively large Volumes although at a depressed price. Considering the Acquisition of KDN (Kenya Data Network) it recently undertook and its aggressive Marketing of digital village coupled with the construction of Sameer business park am foreseeing that this docile bus is just about to take off considering its trading a Kshs 5.00 which is same as its per value. Whats your take on this??....

i beg to differ underweight i stand to be corrected,KDN was offloaded to some south african outfit last year and sameer holds less than 20%.

As for sameer its financial results so far speak for themselves.

this counter is going nowhere in the near future

Underweight is correct. Sameer is going places! Just watch and see for yourselves this stock jump from 5bob to 6bob or even 7 bob in a months time! Come back 2 months down the line and tel me I was wrong!

Sameer Africa (tyres) does NOT own any part of KDN.

Many people who are investors/speculators who are holding in shares dont know what they hold but as a piece of advise i want to disclose to them that the wild swings in the market tend to happen with the simple rule of the market - The Relaxation Rule .

On any single day this limit is open for any price increase/decrease thus resulting in price going off the roof or biting the dust .

Many counters on nse which are trading at high discount to thier book value or net asset value tend to go off the roof when some gud news comes to market since they hold strong fundamental .

In the past i have given few names of the counters so take your time to go thro them & buy .

About living /leaving in the bus is like good buy or good bye - We make our choices to design our future .

Good Investing .

KDN was sold off to Altech of South Africa along with Infocom (Uganda) and Swift (Tz).

The problem with equality is that we desire that it be with those that have more than us rather that those that have less

and if I was to draw inferences,I'd really look into the periphery at the overall Sameer Group - word out there is that Zain (in which it is a shareholder),is about to change hands. Recall when Vivendi was opting out of Kencell,Merali bought Vivendi's shares and then sold them for a tidy sum to MSI (later known as Celtel).

The problem with equality is that we desire that it be with those that have more than us rather that those that have less
