That laptop is 19,000bob in the shops,adding safaricom bundle can't inflate the price to 29,000 bob. I think you are a bit expensive!

The laptop price is Ksh19000 and the safaricom modem is Ksh3999. the combined total should be Ksh22,999 good day

Yeah,that laptop has been advertised a lot in the newspapers for 19k. A couple of things though,what OS does it come with and can you install XP and get all the drivers off the internet? How long does the battery last when not connected to a power source?

1. the laptop comes with linux. you can still load xp n get all the drivers including internet explorer n sound.
2. this offer includes 160GB 2.5' portable external harddisk,not just the safcom modem.

the battery can last upto 2.5 hours depending on what activity,for example when writting dvd's its likely to last less.

I have my own external HDD. I thought those laptops don't come with CD/DVD drives? And do you have larger cell-batteries for those laptops that have a longer battery life? Does it have a LAN port in addition to wireless? In short,could you post the exact model no here so I can check ALL the specs online?



Another thing. Have you personally loaded XP and got ALL the drivers from the internet? If so,what would you charge to load the drivers once I got a copy of XP?

Safcom 'offers' is an insult to the word. Just as their lipua ushinde 'promotion' is not a promo at all. It's a money minting venture.

Just check the so called phone 'offer' price!!! You'll get the same phones,this time unlocked anywhere at much less prices.

Now laptop 'offers'? you'll get the same and better ones at less their offer prices. Wakae nazo.

Life is too short.

Looks like a plan - a plan to foist more SCON modems onto people - last I heard 3G was behaving like fax (2400-9600bps...down from...hmmm).

This would look attractive with an Orange Broadband connection or even Zain smile
