@wazua admin. please correct the spelling of the title of this thread, to how i posted originally. ie. "ten percent off" puzzles me why it was changed. regards The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

These can be got for free on bloomberg and my stocks complete with RSI and moving averages etc... As for research reports see your broker for free! As for real time trading stats join a broker with an online platform for free... This will save you 6k p.a which can get you more than 1k shares of mumias et al!! Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

They have now been posted on the NSE website - company announcements page. The results are great but I could do with a higher dividend. I had no idea BH usually does bonus issues. Please send me a link. They have split their shares [not true splits but let's call them that for now] but never read about a bonus. Please send me a link about BH issuing bonus shares. I googled but my skills in this regard are deficient. Thanks! Greedy when others are fearful. Please send me a link about BH issuing bonus shares. I googled but my skills in this regard are deficient. Thanks! Explain the kind of splits you are talking about first!? I thought you were familiar with BH (from your multiple earlier references to BH) but to help you I will quote from wikipedia. Berkshire's class A shares sold for $140,803.06 as of January 4, 2013, making them the highest-priced shares on the New York Stock Exchange, in part because they have never had a stock split and have only paid a dividend once since Warren Buffett took over, retaining corporate earnings on its balance sheet in a manner that is impermissible for private investors and mutual funds. Shares closed over $100,000 for the first time on October 23, 2006 and closed at an all-time high of $150,000 on December 13, 2007. Despite its size, Berkshire has not been included in broad stock market indices such as the S&P 500 due to the lack of liquidity in its shares; however, following a 50-to-1 split of Berkshire's class B shares in January 2010, Burlington Northern was replaced by Berkshire in the S&P 500 on February 16, 2010. Berkshire Hathaway is notable in that it has never split its Class A shares, which not only contributed to their high per-share price but also significantly reduced the liquidity of the stock. This refusal to split the stock reflects the management's desire to attract long-term investors as opposed to short-term speculators. However, Berkshire Hathaway has created a Class B stock, with a per-share value originally kept (by specific management rules) close to 1⁄30 of that of the original shares (now Class A) and 1⁄200 of the per-share voting rights, and after the January 2010 split, at 1⁄1,500 the price and 1⁄10,000 the voting rights of the Class-A shares. Holders of class A stock are allowed to convert their stock to Class B, though not vice versa. Buffett was reluctant to create the class B shares, but did so to thwart the creation of unit trusts that would have marketed themselves as Berkshire look-alikes. On November 3, 2009, Berkshire Hathaway announced that, using stock and cash totaling $26 billion, it would acquire the remaining 77.4 percent of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation, parent of BNSF Railway, that it did not already own.[49] This was the largest acquisition to-date in Berkshire's history.[50] Greedy when others are fearful. @guru - I am scratching my head over the "Berkshire usually does bonus issues" statement you made. Of course, you may know more than I do about BH. Therefore I humbly request a link so I may brush up further on my knowledge of BH & WB and his investment methods. The only split I came across was for B shares & was done to use it as a currency to buy out BNSF shareholders in (partial) exchange for their BNSF shares. Nevertheless, you may know more about the "Berkshire usually does bonus issues" than I do & would like to be enlightened. Greedy when others are fearful.
