Dear members,

I need advice on whether anyone one in this forum has withdrawn from the online cfc trading account. Experiences with EFT and cheque option will be most helpful including cost and processing period.

Thanks SKerians.

@marshalliah, the last time i made a withdrawal, which is a while back, i sent my request by email. They discontinued issuance of cheques unless you work via their agents. However, they will conveniently send you the money directly to your bank account through EFT, RTGS or TT. EFT is free while RTGS-KES 1,500/=, TT-Higher of KES 1,500/= or 2% of the value.

... others may give their experience

True, you have to fill a form and attach a copy of your ID. Just email, ost@stanbic(dot)com

For a chequ, if transacting with them through agent, you would have to send in copy of your ID, then for amounts more than KES 100k, someone from CFC has to call to confirm that it you, a cheque is done for you to collect...give that about 5 working days and it'll cost KES 400. But go for EFT,it's free

Hey EBS @mwekez@ji Is this in-house or sector wide? Interesting.

Hey Chief @Cde. Its sector wide. Automation of the banks clearing house is yielding desired effects.
