Its a gimmik invented by barmen to make you drink a lot of that stuff before you bleki If you bleki early ..thats bad for business Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

And from my chemistry, alcohol has a boiling point of about 78 degrees C, so when you add boiling water to a tot of viceroy, all the alcohol will vaporize and you will end up taking just water. What am i missing? I could be wrong, but I thought the logic behind it, is that hot/warm stuff will get absorbed quickly into the system, and therefore you will get high faster...no?

Most people have not read the chemistry of making different types of cocktails, at the right temperature this is very much in order, no alcohol gets evaporated!!! Heck....done in the right way iut can be used to cure colds!!!!..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

The way they serve Viceroy at that joint can make you go on and on....especially during Thursday Karaoke nights. ION, hope your photo is not amongst those appearing on the wall of fame. And this is the water that is directly added to the alcohol. That to me is hot water not warm water. So assuming you have a 25ml tot of alcohol at room temperature, about 25 degrees C, and you add 200ml of water at 90 degrees C, then definitely the ethanol will evaporate since the mixture will be above 80 degrees C, above the boiling point of ethanol.
