Coming to think of it, and I have been seriously thinking about this, If uhuru and Ruto are truly innocent and the prosecutors in deed have no evidence against them. Wont the ICC then eventually leave them alone???????
So whats the huff and Puff about????

The ICC has its merits. But I think OTP bit a bit more than they could chew on this matter! All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

@McReggae For me I don't even see why the cases should be there in the first place. The very fact that majority of those affected voted in favor of the accused means they had forgiven them...Ni nyinyi mnawashwa...Wao wako poa. If they took time to think and still thought crimes were committed against them, they would have voted differently. How can the accused be the judge? Let us stop this wastage of funds of commuting to and fro Hague and instead see how school children will be provided with laptops. ...Swala nyeti...Hoping that the case will be concluded in the next 8 or so years (Uhuru will still be the president before he hands over to Ruto!!!...No sitting President in Africa has ever lost an election...And we don't want Kenya to be the first example!)and he is given whatever sentence, do yo think he will take a flight the next day and present himself in Hague to start serving that sentence? Go tell that to the birds!!!. ...I fully support the African union in calling for the termination of this nonsense!

So whats the huff and Puff about???? On the surface, its save UhuRuto. Digginv deeper, its discredit the ICC using UhuRuto case so as Al Bashir can get off the hook. Remember Ruto last month insisted that he was against the UN campaign, later on to keep quite as AU was involved. Receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.” ― Rashi

The ICC did not come to Kenya.
Kenya begged to go to the ICC
Lets not be vague lets go to the Hague
ICC will not be for 99 years
We cannot find justice in Kenya
These are your president and deputy president saying this stuff.
So stop being stupid complaining how ICC hates Kenya. The fact is the present Kenyan gov't begged and loved the ICC.
And just in case. I won't apologise for calling you stupid.
As for AU, that is the most useless organisation in the world.
And if being led by one dictator who has made his son a fake army general, steals a whole island, has ruled longer than Moi, and wants his son to inherit presidency is what we are calling African Development and renaissance, then you are more stupid than imagined.
Ouch!!! enyewe western culture imetutoa mbali - we all look at issues differently, stupid and useless are very strong words to use just because things look or are moving differently from how you see the same

Kenyans, Africans? I don't think one can show that most of the afflicted even voted. Will Africa's withdrawal from the ICC save the President and his Deputy? Or rather, what are we solving now? The laws of nature don't respect titles, and while we may withdraw from the ICC, the effects of our actions, our history, will still be with us. Assad may not be taken to the Hague, but does this mean all will be well with him? I doubt it. I suspect that Africa's withdrawal from the ICC will be the end of freedom for all of us. Why? The motif will be one of cover ups and silence and towing the line. There will be no space for dialogue.

Safe for the strong language I share in the sentiments hereinabove. Parliament CHOSE deliberately to have the cases taken up by the ICC!!!! The matter came before parliament not once but twice, with a third time being smoothered before it saw light of day!!! I am also aware that in the height of PEV, both PNU and ODM wrote letters to ICC urging the court to take up the matter of crimes that were actively being committed and bring the culprits to justice. Turning back today to conveniently claim that ICC is acting at the behest of bla bla bla can only serve to show how dignified (tongue in cheek) we are! And with such credentials, the World owes us lots of respect indeed! Dunia ni msongamano..

ICC matters can be boring!!!!! One is just tempted to sleep. The ICC prosecutor should consider initiating investigating again. The fact is; Ocampo did some shoddy work, left the core perpetrators and went for sacrificial lambs. The victims deserve justice. Justice that can only served when and only when the real perpetrators are brought to book. Political schemes won't work.

We are a funny bunch. We have some nut-case dictator fighting our case at the AU, a grouping of other useless fellow, whose continent controls less than 2% of global GDP yet they would all feature in the Forbe's list of filthy rich. And we think these are our "leaders". They are our "rulers", and we are naive! Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming
