I need some help on this one.So far i've talked to KRA Kilindini,Nairobi and two clearing & forwarding agents.The agents are telling me,import duty plus VAT for 7,800 reams of copy paper[20ft container] is 800K.On the other hand,KRA Nairobi are saying 10% duty,15% VAT. Kilindini guys are talking of 25% duty 16%VAT and 2.5% IDF. Now,does anyone out there have firsthand info on this? It's getting a lil' frustrating. Please enlighten me thru' sales@plpglobal.com or just post the info here on SK. Your assistance will be highly appreciated.
