As SAF rebranded ManUtd into an indomitable status, Chris transformed Kakamega High (Green Commandos)into the Epicentre of Kenyan football.Who could beat Kakamega High during his hey days? He taught Physics in class....and was revered for his ''carpet ball play''. He also coached Motcom, AFC Leopards and Harambee stars
Gone with the wind @ Moi Referral Eldoret.

@Muheani....may be your age bracket matters. He was at Kakamega High from 1979 to 1990s....when the Commandos ruled the Kenya Sec schools footbal Nationals like a Colossus. At one point in late 80s half of Harambee Stars players were his products. The school was a fertile academy for the defunct Motcom FC, AFC,GOR among many others. Some of his products were:
Washington Muhanji
George Nyangi Odembo
Peter Owade Zimbo
Peter Lichungu
Michael Amwayi
Dan Musuku
Jared Ingutia
Mike Otieno....

This is shocking! am so behind news. He was my maths teacher and our very revered coach. He was diabetic and he has not been doing well lately. But this came too soon. May our God comfort the family

He taught me physics at Katch. I remember whenever he asked a question in class he would rebuke those who lifted up their left hand. He rose from school coach to Harambee stars coach just like that. A life well lived.

@mawinder I was in the fourth 8-4-4 group under Kinaro who handed over to Vodoti. Balala left in '87 if am not wrong. I ate "Magotsi" first then "Royale" later stages.
