Mmh...why would they be making an exit? And the probability of them doing the same to Liberty should tell us what contrarian?


Mmh ... as at 31st June 2012, African Liason had 15.73% shareholding in CFC Bank ... as at 31st Dec 2012, they had shed their holding to 10.89%. Fridays transaction was 7% of the Banks shares. Does that mean that African Liason aint done exiting yet? and ditto @murchr, why the exit? On the foreign inflow, will CMA take action

please advice. i have a substantial amount of kcb and panafric shares. kcb books close today n pan on fri. should i dispose and buy back after books closure (capital gains) or should i enjoy the dividend?

Selling depends on your entry points,if you bought above 30s no need to sell factoring in comissions,i doubt books close will greatly affect the share and even if it does,the recovery will come in a week or two...however if i were you i would sell kcb and buy equity imediately which seems to be making more profit than kcb comparing their financial muscle.

I agree "sell KCB and BUY Equity" or even NBK. I also agree the dip after bks closure cud be short-lived.

Been researching on Pan African and sanlam said they shall be back in the market after books closure to get the remaining 6%, I believe the price shall hold post books closure......as for kcb equity looks like a better option in the medium term, kula dividend then move out any price above 42 is pretty good

decided to pick the dividend for kcb. lemmi now watch pan as fri draws closer. thanks

Seems ARM woke up on the right side of the bed - 320m turnover so far.
