Though I rarely go to church because i tend to see what the flock leaders do and i feel am not in a position to stomach such i rather read from my comfort zone and listen over the radio and get that stimulus to move on. On another note I listened to Pastor Pat Robertson and was amazed at how courageous he is to say that in marriage you should not look at how your spouse is cheating on you but whether s/he is meeting his/her provisional bargain....housing,food education plus other basic necessities
Irrespective Of What U See The church Leadership Do... Remember To Tithe...honestly.
That The Good Lord Expects Of U... find away If u dt Go to Church.
By the same measure you use to judge others, so shall be used unto you!
So, our new Pastor is a story teller. In this our month of tackling Spiritual warfare he decides to tell us a story. Back in the village(it might have been huko kwa @essyk), this villager wakes up to find a dead frog on his doorstep! Its pegged on a stick like someone wanted to make nyashoma out of it. The fella gets all worked up, someone has bewitched him! Running around does not help him and unfortunately true to his word, he dies two weeks later
While mourning, the wife cautions the kids. Tells them the way their father died. 'Ai' goes the kids 'It's us who were playing with the frog. We dropped it when you called us to get indoors!!!'
For successful warfare you need to know the enemy and know his weapons. The enemy is the devil and his agents. Fear is a great weapon he uses, its probably the greatest reason why people run to see witchdoctors, live miserable lives in bondage etc etc His other tools are Deception, Temptation, Accusation, Persecution, Discouragement, Excess habits etc
For a good life, whilst being continuously attacked by the enemy, you need to know what is at your disposal.
1. Know who you are in God's Kingdom. Another story! The Pastor loved chasing dogs. He'd chase them until when they reached its compound. Then tables would turn! The dog knew it had every right to be there, that was its home! The dog would then chase the poor Pastor(llet)
2. The full armour of God Ephesians 6:14-17
3. Authority in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We can rebuke him in the name of Christ Jesus.
4. We are shielded and protected in the blood of Christ Jesus.
