Every month for the last three years I have been contributing 200 kes to NSSF and my employer 200 kes. I also have a pension scheme at work where they contribute about 6k every month. It has just come to me attention that in the next thirty years when I retire, I will only be entitled to my contribution and not me employer's contribution since i have a pension scheme and should not benefit twice? ie 200 x 12x30+interest instead of 200 x 12 x 30 x 2 +interest........ Please tell me this is not true? Any of you gone for your money after retiring and you had a private pension scheme? Many thanks.

Can u first confirm if what u have been contributing is credited to ur account. There is a time my account was reading only 400 bob yet I had contributed for 2 yrs. they then said the system had not updated my contribution. check if ur contributions r up to date as u work on the others

Jst ensure your employer remits the 200/= by requesting for a stmnt from NSSF. You'll get all your cash. The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity.
