Some 53M shares valued at Kes.775M were traded in 1,900 deals, down from 46M shares that were valued at Kes.967M posted yesterday.
The NSE 20 Share Index was up 0.49% to stand at 4905.68.
All Share Index (NASI) was up 0.95 points to stand at 122.90.

hisah, was that gap ever filled?

Not yet at 4600 - 4700 levels. Though I note that MSCI KE index has powered past the April top. Foreign bid pressure is gaining again. If sustained the gap will remain. Also the CBR cut will likely stall downside risks.
However, keep an eye on simba exdiv & mpesa bank post results. EABL is acting well to keep the index afloat.

26 has proven a ka-major resistance. kinda like 18.
after it breaks 26, the next target should be 30.00

I sold out my holding in Uchumi, I only remain with a nominal 1,000 shares for sentimental value really. I buy companies low sell them high so I can't touch Uchumi. Going forward that depends on the new branches and what they add to the turnover. The last results did not impress me because the turnover shrunk a little. Long term looks good if the country starts oil production and if that feeds into consumer spending(more middle-class) then future looks bright
