'Slave' - One whose body and soul belongs to an other.

Am I a slave? No. I am.

Are you a slave? Who do you belong to, and how did you get there?

Please share, even if you belong to 'no one'.

Thank you @tycho for clarifying this term.

You see the minority within the other community feels hurt by this term. You know many people, even here I guess, make the mistake of using this word in reference to Africans of African/Americans.

WE ARE ALL SLAVES OF THE CREATOR

Because God (glorified and exalted be He) refers to us all as His slaves beautifully in the Quran
And it is a term of honor. An honorable way of life and the purpose for which He created us

So the term refers:
to those who strive to respect, adore, reverence, a master: Like in the courts, for those who are still lost in the term.

Wha about the other side of the realm and into the mind of the enslaver. What goes through it?

Thank you @Alph.

Consider that Man is not only an image of God, but that he is endowed with consciousness and power to name and choose.

This precludes slavery.

@youcant, has asked us an important question. If God is our Master He is compelled in a manner that sustains the Master- Slave relationship.

This negates God. And Humanity.

Not true. Philosophy can lead to truth. And yes, truth will set you free.

There's no paradox here. Only ignorance.

My ignorance perhaps. I realize there's no freedom, without the sword.

But Justice. Where and how do we get it?

The bounty hunter. Ultimate Justice?

Django Unchained indeed.

Slaves are livestock... we think we are doing them favours. it has an aspect of 'freewill' i.e. there being none.

The clearest, most understandable and tangible things are not all there is. There is something else: unclear, unknown, contradictory and non-existent.
