Do you know of "Germi inverter"? Somebody tells me a 400W costs about sh3000, but Suntech tells me their 300W is going for about sh6600.

I bought from Davis & Shirtliff gave me the best prices. And I think their products are good.

Thank you all.

NOTE: I also liked their range of products for water e.g. pumps.

@AlphDoti, I bought a system for my father in shags 9 years ago from Davis & shirtliff;
1. One x 220 watt panel.
2. Two x 150AH GASTON batteries.
3. One x 660W Opti inverter / Charger
4. Cabling, labour e.t.c - I got a local guy to do)

So far it is still going strong, when fully charged it gives 12hrs of power to 8 bulbs ( 2 security lighting overnight till morning) one 29 inch A/C color TV (on averagely 6hrs daily) and occasional one water booster pump twice daily.

The key is get the right panel and batteries to match your demand.

NB: More efficient panels have come into the market though - you need to research more.
