That 40cts div is such a put off. But on the bright side the slide is making the P/B to look very enticing... 14 - 15 level is the near term support. Below that level I expect to see sizable bids defending the slide.
$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Was loitering in the mkt today & alas! Tawt I saw a bounce/floor at 15.40, so hopped in at 15.75 thinking to self that this ride's cheaper than NBK's entry was with twice the Div smile. 18.5+ is now welcome.

I can see in the pdf version of CIC 2012 annual report kenya Re is the 8th largest shareholder.

Does anyone know when books close and when the dividend will be paid? I never saw this info in the newspaper advert that carried the results. It only said the dividend is .40

Books close 7th June. Payment 12th July.

Kenya re appears to be the HF of 2012 ''diamond in the rough''
so many shouts of BUY KENYA RE.......HF shot from 15/= to 26/= in no time, i suspect Kenya re will surprise us pretty soon.
