@The General,surely all Zimbabwe's woes cannot be attributed to poor rains...how do you reclaim land back (very noble) to give people who have no clue about large scale agriculture in a way that alienates the ones who had been working on it for years and expect spectacular production?
I believe what he did was necessary but the way it was conducted eventually led to the collapse of a once thriving economy. Just because the West's vested interests in the matter are clear does not mean Mugabe is a victim of circumstances - an innocent bystander in the mix of a well oiled machine that is Big Brother,too complex to fathom - he is largely responsible for his people's woes,unless you want to say they're very happy with his rule. Progressive dictatorship like in Rwanda is ok,Mugabe's is anything but!
