If monthly close on April 30 2013 is lower than 4860, the current uptrend from Nov 2012 will have triggered a reversal. NSE20 has been printing monthly higher highs since Nov 2012 and if April closes below 4860 that uptrend will be broken meaning selling pressure is taking over. I don't mind the correction as long as it does not break below 4400. Near term support levels are 4600, 4545 (SMA 50) and 4400.

Illustration with RSI divergence

5yr Illustration with simple moving averages (SMA) - 20 day, 50 day and 200 day. Bullish cross noted in 2013 as 50 day cross over 200 day.

A strong treasury/finance secretary and a generally good cabinet will give the NSE some very short-term upside

Past 2013 that pattern looks discouraging.

FTSE NSE indices continue posting lower lows. NSE20 will likely close below 4800 today.

Very basic though since it only shows a 5 day history. FTSE doesn't say how you can get full index data.

James I assume was given Health because a kiuk wasn't going to be given Treasury. He is sharp so will hopefully cope with Health.
Amina is excellent for foreign affairs.

Rotich is relatively junior within the current ministry of finance. CV looks okay. Would still have MOO anyday.
Matiangi has zero background in ICT (its a key part of the dynamic duo's agenda)-strange.
Biggest disappointment is you have 4 weeks to name 18 Kenyans so you can start working and it seems to be pretty difficult thing to do.
Perhaps no upside after all... But we Kenyans love style (populism)

If in doubt ;not fit but let's give them a chance. The rest should be named together and not piecemeal. IMHO Rotich should switch places with J.K.
