From 652 to 37!
I realised that I had more friends than I need. Over years I've only had 2 genuine friends. I also realised my "friends" who are busy spreading hate because of elections that ended eons ago are people I don't even know well.

BBI will solve it

true...been doing that too my problem is most of mine are of the fairer sex and they do come in handy when i have blue balls...but I agree very few people are genuine friends, very few can go all out to be there for you in times of need...I actually have one.

I don't need a certain number of friends, just a number of friends I can be certain of.

I used to defriend ppl on FB until someone mentioned network. If you are in the business world or intend to get into the business world, those unknowns become very useful. Just keep them as a just incase.....Don't read their blah blah blahs but use them in the future when you need to advertise your goods or services....

Like seriously, facebook friends? Do you think they are real? Facebook friends are facebook friends.... dont count on them... some of them dont even "know" you! You dont believe me? here's how you do it.... change your date of birth to tomorrow.... see how many "best wishes" you get.... because they do not know you!

My best friends are not in facebook and the few who are, we hardly even communicate through it.... For me, facebook is for killing boredom... sometimes reading what others are upto.... if you are gauging your friends based on the ones in facebook, then, it is not your friends who have a problem, it is you. Your friends should be, most importantly, in "heartbook" and if outside, your "phonebook" or "email address book".... anywhere else, forget it.

If you have over 10 people in facebook, i can tell you for sure, they arent not all real friends.... 37? You need to go further down, until you are left with 5..... And if you can count 5, then you are very rich!

Facebook is a good networking tool. Open a page on your goods/ services, add friends then invite them to like your page. Your former university mates and high school mates come in handy. You can also direct them to your website, if you have one.
Life is short. Live passionately.

Others have very funny names, while others use fake photos for obvious reasons
