I almost sued such a firm. I used to receive 3 such messages per week for about 2 years i.e about 6k. Do you call this daylight robbery? I can swear too that i never subscribed to any such service.

Until the 3 weeks ago I was receiving daily messages from these thieves. The whole time I kept saying to myself I will call Safaricom to unsubscribe, but every time it slipped my mind or found me too busy to be bothered. When I finally called them, they insisted that I must have subscribed myself somehow, but they unsubscribed me anyway. Now this morning, I receive the a message from the same number, 21026. I call Safaricom again, this time they ask me to call Roamtech. I try to reach them but it turns out I got one digit wrong, so I end up calling someone else. Anyway, I unsubscribe myself. I am still going to try to reach them and give them a piece of my mind.

I already did that. What bothers me is that this is the second time I am getting subscribed without my consent.

I have been receiving this spam messages from 22554 and 22454 twice a day. Ignored and marked them spam. I have never subscribed to this services.Later i realized each was deducting about 60 bob a day! Pure daylight robbery! When i keyed in *100*6# to access premium services and unsubscribe...i noticed i had FOUR PRS services to unsubscribe from! How i got subscribed..only safaricom knows!
This has been on for close to a year.
How do i place a complaint and to whom? CCK? I intend to .

I wrote to CA (Formely CCK) and a lady called Irene (chukua hatua CA) was quite helpful in following up with Solunet (22454) and Roamtech (22554).I had a log of this sms in excel starting from Sep 2013. Initially i had written to the two companies but the response was almost bordering on being totally rude. Not helpful. When i wrote to CA the companies responded almost immediately!
Solunet was totally professional and apologetic. They refunded me the amount deducted.
Roamtech (22554)just responded today but they do not look like the will yield to a refund. They have been deducting my airtime since Jan 2013! The matter is still with CA and i expect CA will push them to make amends with me. If they do not make amends, i intend to take the matter to court. I have the evidence. If there is any Wazuan with evidence against 22554 please contact me, so that we can make a plausible case against Roamtech.
