NSE 20 up 0.76% to stand at 5027.90. And crosses 5000 points again.

Or as I would say, 5000 handle reclaimed.

I wonder how many have noticed that volume has been thining out in April...

For those stocks that are fairly valued (they're few), no worries. For the rest, how do they maintain buyers interest at those lofty prices ahead of their fundies.

So will the market remain lofty with a few fairly priced counters?

Total, tpse are my bets going into the year, never been one to chase prices of overvalued counters or leppers. Its suicide. Total already doing well.

Kindly tell me, Whats your measure of 'fair value' chief?

Personally i use PE in relation to sector PE and Div Yield.

E.g a div yield above 5p.c and a PE lower than 15 for construction sector, 20 for telecoms, etc is OK with me.

I'm waiting to see the prices next month. Oil has taken it in the chin in April as well as many commodoties. Market rumour is hedge funds deleveraging. If true this is not a good sign since global equities will follow suit soon.

12 trading days remaining. Will NSE20 close above 5000 or will it close at open (4860) or below open. This is what I'm keenly looking at since the volume is now indicating buying fatigue. If April closes at 4860 or below, more selling is slated to come in May.

Keep this in mind...

I look at the leading bluechips of an index and when P/B shoots above 3 on a majority of them, a correction is bound to kick in.

@Hisah. What would be the significance if it was to close at 4860 or below! If I quoteyou, it means demand will be overwhelmed by sellers?? = price drop?? ...

AFTER a decade-long wait, the Angolan stock exchange is due for lift-off in 2015, with trading in government paper from the second half of this year and corporate
paper from next year.
Angola’s economy is forecast to grow 7.1% this year from 8% last year. The middle class makes up a small percentage of the population and more
diversification away from oil is needed. While 50% of workers are in agriculture, only 1% work in the more lucrative petroleum sector (it still makes up 50% of Angola’s gross domestic
product).

Plots for sale and building threads are back... and with them rise in property development stocks.
