Has anyone here tried Absinthe? Now that's one drink I wouldn't mind having again.

Drinking it is such a process...they strain water thru a sugar cube that pours into the absinthe glass.

The first time I had it, it made my mind soar.....such artistic thoughts!!

Those guys mentioning some nice drinks like tequilla, gin and the rest you must have taken them when you were naive about those drinks. I have tried a mirriad of drinks from west african herbals (miti ni dawa), chang'aa, konyagi, waragi, rwandese banana drink, carribean herbs (mixer of medicinal herbs then add whisky, gin, spirits) and leave it to extract for like 6 months, nepalese gin and many many more and i have not experienced any effect that could make me stop any. A word of advice though always make sure you have eaten well before taking such things and always in between have some bitings and atleast a glass or two of water after you finish especially before sleeping

Word!!!

the biggest problem with most people especially the younglings is mixing...you start with beer,go to some form of brandy taking a few shots of anything that comes your way in between...by the end of the night one is almost dying...

Which is that one drink that you have imbibed before but vowed never to partake again/you,d rather take a pass even if its the last drink available...either coz of the nasty hangover or maajabu ulifanya...

Why not think of leaving it altogether?

Because we know this fruit grape has two types of product: (i) Wine and (ii) Good provision

But because wine lacks good, should raise a question to you d'oh!
Why don't you accept that the effect of alcohol is not good Shame on you

There is also another one guys used to buy at the D.O.D. that came in barrels and you had to have your own container. I forget the name. Anyone?

Did the same thing in my first year of uni with Bell's whisky. Drank 750ml with a buddy and went off all whisky until i was 27. Now whisky is my favourite tipple though i still haven't touched Bell's since.
