This always happens in a parabolic euphoria move... Tops take the elevator down instead of the stairs. Whoever bought at the $266 high is tied to a giant anchor far from the seabed. http://www.businessinsid...coin-trading-halt-2013-4$15/barrel oil... Quote:U.S. investment bank Goldman Sachs late Thursday upgraded its 12-month target for both Japanese benchmarks - the Nikkei and Topix - on expectations of bumper earnings growth.
It increased its target for Nikkei to 16,000 from 15,000 and for the Topix to 1,350 from 1,250 earlier, which marks a near 20 percent upside from current levels. I don't like when GS starts sticking their paws on places I'm trading because it always ends up badly. This is a good signal to close the trades and look elsewhere. http://www.businessinsid...n-upgrades-japan-2013-4

The huge January 2013 VIX April call @20 is almost getting there. Market manipulation at it's best now that somehow there is a bomb blast at Boston Marathon causing markets to selloff hard in US. Too coincidental all these... $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Brent oil slumps below $100 handle and even tests sub 98 before a rebound. The volatility across the commodos market feels like GFC... @kyt - a lot of damage has happened to the commodos with long time frame rallies taking hits. Reversing a 3yr rally in 2 weeks is not funny. The panic sell episode is followed by a huge relief bounce, but the damage has been done. In the short term I expect the bounce to hold, but the selling is not yet done. Don't stand infront of the derailed train! $15/barrel oil... @kk - agreed. We are yet to see capitulation which my model projects around 1080 - 1180 levels. Only when we get to this "hell on earth" panic suicidal point will I look to hold gold longterm again. The current bounce is just that, a bounce. Selling is hardly over! More downside risks are coming and the panic will cause the selloff to be sizable... If you have stayed in the market long enough you can easily see the looming move since many are wrong footed and sitting on huge losses.$15/barrel oil... Hisah, nipe mawaidha on the stocks Jonna was talking about.
Zogenix and Gevo.
Their price keeps on going down and am thinking that maybe Jonna was just lying.

Zogenix - http://www.benzinga.com/...-generic-versions-of-pu
Gevo - http://www.nasdaq.com/ar...entation-20130411-00746
FDA decision affecting Zogenix while court ruling affecting Gevo.
From a technical view, zogenix is a better buy than gevo. Gevo's chart is a serious bear with a huge price collapse - almost 90% on a 52 week timeframe.
Caution with penny stocks. They can burn you badly when it gets hot since they're usually not well supported in the small market (big money). $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Real Madrid has overtaken Manchester United as the world's most valuable football club, according to business magazine Forbes. After Barcelona on $2.6bn, Forbes found that Arsenal was the fourth richest club, worth $1.33bn, followed by Bayern Munich ($1.31bn), AC Milan ($945m), Chelsea ($901m), Juventus ($694m), Manchester City ($689m) and Liverpool ($651m) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-22193398

@Hisah. I concur, it is a shaking of the tree to weed out the weak longs. The same took place in September of 2008 when gold was consolidating around the $1000 level. It made two attempts at $1000 then plunged to $680 before making a pendulum swing back up again. Let us see what 9th of May, 17th of May and and 3rd of June brings forth. hisah wrote:@kk - agreed. @Hisah. This what we call a waterfall event in sentiment. Not a bull to be found in gold? Volatility in the remaining part of April and May will remain high. The market will bottom once the selling pressure is complete and swing in the opposite direction as long term buyers such as Hisah flock back in: http://www.bangkokpost.c...ush-in-as-prices-plunge

Europe is dead in the water. Nigel Farage tells it as it is. "Years ago, Mrs Thatcher recognised the truth behind the European Project. She saw that it was about taking away democracy from nation states and handing that power to largely unaccountable people. Knowing as she did that the euro would not work she saw that this was a very dangerous design. Now we in UKIP take that same view and I tried over the years in this parliament to predict what the next moves would be as the euro disaster unfolded...." http://www.youtube.com/w...edded&v=BfK3_kJ4z7k
