Dear Wazuans,

Its been long! Now I am back.

How is a laundry cleaning business like? Has anyone in the forum ever been involved in one. I live in an estate where having your jackets washed is a problem. We have to go to town. I see an opportunity in the estate (and many upcoming high class apartments in the area) but I have never been into one. I have walked around looking for machines to have a cost estimate but the problem is that I dont know which machine is more preferred.

Any Wazuan with the experience and willing to share would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Anwari

Hi,
Before venturing into any business you must do your due diligence. See who your competition is. I am not in the Laundry/Dry Cleaning business but I provide would-be entrepreneurs with valuable information concerning where to apply for Finance, Free Worldwide Grants and Business Plans are also available. Machinery/equipment can also be provided.
I find it very encouraging to see people trying to start their own business.
Read my post:"Raising Entrepreneurs can solve Youth Unemployment".
This will give you a better understanding of the importance of entrepreneurship and their important roll in the economy.

Hi,
Before I supply you with the information you're seeking I need to know the following:
What type of heavy equipment are you interested in and what sort of business are you planning?
I have an incredible network of suppliers worldwide which can supply any sort of machinery from light to heavy equipment. My associates and I can draw up a business plan at a pre-determined fee which will be refunded if you purchase the machinery through my network. Information for Financing and Free Worldwide Grants will then be provided. Once purchase is made a commission fee will be payable to me.
Do not hesitate to contact me if more info is required at inglisby@gmail.com

@Anwari,

Thanks for the info.

What I meant is that there is no competition in the region I am interested in. Residents have to go to town to have their suits washed (me included). I thought here there is a ready market for dry cleaning. Before I venture into it, I need to know more about the business and that's why I was asking for anyone who has some knowledge about it.

I am still doing my research but would not mind if you can assist me with the requisite information on costs, equipments, profitability etc.

Don't invest in the equipment rather open shop and market your biz. Then partner with the numerous companies in industrial area with equipment, trained staff, experience, etc to dry clean for you. You need a van.
