Local tech investors are there. My experience has been that once you show some proper traction and eliminate some of those early-stage question marks, that's when local guys will take a chance on you.

Do local Tech startups make sense to Wazuans? With the current tech boom, its available if one is prepared to answer tough questions. Apps and softwares are being bought for multi millions, our consumption is on the rise... Its upon one to come up with an attractive proposal. Hope Konza won't be a pipe dream

No. While I have hands on experience with foreign investors, I have only pitched local investors, but I'm yet to commit to one.

@KenyanLyrics what are some of the factors that meant you now have experience with foreign investors and non with local investors? Specifically was the deal with local investors not good or did they simply not make and offer? interested that mobile innovation and mobile entrepreneurship propel East Africa's knowledge economy - www.gmeltdown.com
