It has nothing to do with the Bible. Some people are just shamelessly holier than thou and will use the Bible, Quran, tribe, history, culture....anything to try and show how better they are than other human beings.

In my many years of living and reading religious books, I have seen nowhere where it says that giving birth to a child in a church is going to get you burned to charcoal even before you to go hell. That being a single mum will have our boobs cut off just before you burn. But men will be men and they will create such scenarios to please their decadent minds.

The question I was asked is whether I'm a christian. The answer to that is that it depends.

If its from the same church and dogma as newfarer and co, I'm not and will never qualify to be a "christian"

If not, I will stick to my opinion that you are just one paranoid church goer who really needs Jesus in his life. Reading a book or two on the dangers of vanity won't hurt too

What would Jesus do if he was confronted with the woman who gave birth in the midst of her wedding? Would He turn her and her husband away? Would He condemn them by starting to quote the scriptures? Or would He hold the newborn and bless him/her, welcome the father and mother and encourage them to stand firm in faith as they bring up the child? Would he not tell them that He went to calvary so that none of them may ever suffer shame and condemnation and that if they accept Him in faith and in deed, they shall have life in abundance?

Our problem as a "Christian" country is that most of us equate Christianity to going to church and "saying", I am saved.

We forget that as Christians we are called into a life-time calling of trying to follow Christ. We fall many times yet we are supposed to get up and walk the path. And by no means are we allowed to stand in piety and condemn others who we "think" may have fallen.
